Potentialism is the melding of boundaries between play, poem, sculpture, painting, and music. The lines that separate the arts become so blurred it becomes impossible to see where one medium ends and another begins. The Potentialist is interested in investigating how the arts are unified by creating a community for collaboration between trans-textual artists. We believe a contemporary artist should have understanding of all forms of art. This will allow the artist to create without limits. This immersion in the free flow of thought and action is the starting point for our mission in modern art. Put your hands up, tongue out and join the circus!
Ali's Alley is our performance art display case, made possible by the continued support of local arts advocate, Deb Girard, in honor of her late daughter, Alison, who loved and found her peace in theater.
We have a stage, lighting, sound, and projector screen to feature new and original works, improv comedy, spoken word, independent films, music recitals, and whatever else you can dream up. Let us know if you want to reserve the space for your project.
We also offer services in marketing, writing, directing, producing and acting. Rates vary and can be tailored to your budget. We can bring whatever tools we can to produce what you can dream up, or we will let you experiment for yourself.
Did I mention we have a green room?

Monthly art receptions feature local fine art talent of various styles. Every third Thursday we host artist receptions where you can meet and greet, drink some wine and shmooze with the locals. We also host Conversation Café in the gallery one afternoon per month to highlight the featured artist and provide an open platform to encourage casual conversations between creatives. We invite you to enjoy our beautiful space during regular gallery hours, but of course it is always visible during other events, as well.
If you'd like to share your work in our gallery, submit all documents through email to Jen at with subject title:"yourname_potentialist_gallery”
