The following night, Saturday June 15-- We're opening up a new show in the gallery featuring art by Athena Llamas, Doreen Mortenson, Reden Guerrero, and Courtney Vigo. The opening reception of ECLECTIC AESTHETIC starts at 6pm on Saturday. If for some reason you can't make it here that night, (we're hoping you're going to be here hanging out, dancing all weekend long) they'll be hosting gallery hours June 22-June 26 1-6pm leading up to their closing reception on the 26th. As the opening reception calls it a night, we'll move to the theater for performances from Menacing Glare, Split Jaw and locals. This show comes to you from our friends Reno Pyrate Punx. This is an All Ages event! $7. We're planning a plein-air painting trip to Pyramid Lake on Sunday June 23. Meet us at the Potentialist at 8:30am to caravan to the lake. Be sure to pack portable art supplies and sunscreen, maybe wear a swim suit and bring a small donation for gasoline. We'll close the month out with a final reception for Eclectic Aesthetic in the gallery and a fundraiser for Soulful seeds gardening coalition in the theater on June 26th! I'll tell you now, because it's coming up so soon we can hardly believe it! July 1st- July 9th we're back in
the gallery with the David J. Drakulich Foundation for Freedom of Expression. Art made by locals veterans on paper made from military uniforms will be featured in the gallery through Independence Day. Gallery hours will be held 10am-5pm the 1st through the 9th. On the evening of the July 1, we'll be hosting a concert in the theater featuring touring artists Peter J. Woods, Christopher Burns and local Solterona, and very local (resident artists from the Potentialist Workshop) Corner Store and Bitch about Robots (a new project coming from Jack Ryan and Naomi DiVine.) We're looking forward to seeing you here this summer! In the meantime, we'll be outside painting murals and playing chess. Keep creating! The Potentialist Team
