Meet Derek Miller. Writer, producer, set designer, actor- with a penchant for prop making and painting. He came up with a skit, this impersonation of Bob Ross, the beloved PBS landscape painter, and brought him to life.
DW Albrecht also co-stared as Bill Alexander (Bob's mentor) and Annette Kowalski (Bob's business partner).
It's the full experience from life in Alaska to behind-the-camera antics. We learned not only how to paint his most recognized landscape, but also about how Bob became such a great success. Not to mention, it was hilarious!
We had an excellent turnout with paintings made from every show. Each are available for purchase, so contact us to see if any are left. Make your offer.
Also, we plan to take this show on the road later in 2016 to Chicago. Spreading Potentialist seeds like Happy Accidents and Happy Trees.
The Secret Password Variety Hour Wonder-fuck Talent Show is a monthly exhibit of local talent scheduled for every last Wednesday. This month was the first showcase, featuring a Peter Pan skit, a preview to our November show called Happy Accidents: The Bob Ross Experience, glass eating and stunts, to songs and a trance medium. This production was brought to you by D.W. Albrecht, Lu Brock, Gregory De Merel, and other Potentialist artists. Let us know if you are interested in performing during future events!
The eyes and ears: behind the scene, in the scene. Taking notes and photos.
