This March, the Potentialist Workshop presents two solo exhibitions in the gallery. In the beginning of the month, Rose Barry's textural peices will be on display for a pop-up show March 4- March 8. Join us on the final day for the closing reception of Everyone Has a Place by Rose Barry from 5-10pm. We hope to see you on the evening of March 8th for this months 1st art party at 836 E. 2nd St. Open to the public. Also on March 8, starting at 8pm Speak Easy opens with live music from Ike Ruffin, Peavine Prophets, Alex Heem, and Redfield Clipper. Keep an eye out for Drink and Draw with Jen Charboneau this month, dates will be announced on our facebook and instagram pages so be sure to follow us if you haven’t already. We’ll also be posting progress shots of our newest mural out in Sunshine Alley behind our shop and are excited for more outdoor projects as we move forward towards spring weather! With love, The Potentialist Family | On the morning of March 24, we'll be taking a field trip to make art at beautiful Winnemucca and Marshall Ranches with plein-air painter Erik Holland. We'll meet at the Potentialist Workshop at 8:30am, then caravan to the conservation area where we will hike to nearby creeks and antelope plains At the end of the month, Portraits by Nick Noyes will take to the walls. His artwork will be on display in the gallery from March 10-March 31 with a closing reception on the 30th. For Concerts ft. Potentialist-based musicians: March 1- Silver performs w/ Record Company at Cargo Concert Hall 7pm March 8- Weapons of Mass Creation performs with Halsey Harkins at Pignic Pub and Patio at 8pm, before heading off to perform at SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. |
